The Queen's Innovation Centre Summer Initiative (QICSI) is an intensive four-month paid summer program designed for individuals with a capacity for creativity, a tolerance for risk, and a desire to pursue entrepreneurship as a career. The program offers participants the opportunity to develop their ventures with the support of training, mentorship, and access to resources, culminating in seed funding.
Participants in QICSI receive comprehensive support to bring their entrepreneurial ideas to life. The program includes structured mentorship, entrepreneurial training sessions, and the resources needed to build and scale their startups. Participants also benefit from a collaborative community of fellow entrepreneurs and innovators, fostering an environment conducive to creativity and growth.
The program concludes with a pitch competition where participants present their ventures to a panel of judges, with the chance to secure seed funding to help launch and grow their businesses.
