Resource Details

The Q Your Venture program is designed for early-stage startups and entrepreneurs looking to develop their business ideas. Participants receive access to resources such as mentorship, workshops, and networking opportunities to help them grow their ventures. The program provides a supportive environment for validating ideas, building business models, and preparing for market entry.

How to Apply

  1. Email pre-work to innovation.centre@queensu.ca including a statement: I will offer/produce [what] that will [address what problem or improve some condition] for [who would want to buy or use this product service]
  2. Complete and submit the provided workbook chapters.
  3. Attend a group onboarding meeting scheduled bi-weekly on Thursdays at 10 AM (EST).

Deliverables

  • Participation in workshops
  • Development of a business model
  • Presentation at a final pitch event

Qualifications

Be proposing to start a new business or expand an existing business that is 5 years or younger with proof of sales.
